Hello dear Mazel Families,

Ready, set, go…Act II of the “Extreme Makeover Mazel Edition”

I am very excited to update you all on the tremendous progress that was made this week on the “Extreme Makeover Project.”

The workers have been working very hard installing new doors in the hallway and every room in the preschool building.

The new doors are very modern and stylish and give our space a totally new look. Please look at the pictures below and see for yourself.

Now getting to a very popular topic.. the Bathrooms. This week the workers installed brand new tiles in the bathrooms in the preschool building.

The work is still in progress (we still  need to paint the walls, doors and moldings, scrub down toilets, etc.) but already our bathrooms are looking so much brighter and inviting.

Stay tuned… for more updates on the renovation.

Week #1 of Extreme Makeover Begins

Hello Dear Mazel Parents,

It is with great excitement that I write an update on the progress of the “Extreme Makeover Mazel Edition” project.

I am pleased to announce that the renovation of the pre-school building began on Wednesday, June 24th - as soon as the kids stepped out of the school to enjoy their summer.

The first phase of the project is moving along very rapidly. The building makeover is unfolding before our eyes, as day by day we witness the progress of the project.

The outside of the building is currently undergoing a major “facelift”. The building bricks have been power-washed and the large cement stones are looking sparkly. We are also very excited that our school now has a beautiful new entrance door! The door is absolutely gorgeous! But don’t just believe my words; stop by to see it with your own eyes. In a few weeks we are hoping to see the new school sign hanging above our new entrance door making our entrance even more eye-catching.

Do you remember the old doors?  Big difference!  (Notice the rust stains on the stone, which are now gone.)

Inside the school building the painters started working. The classrooms and hallways are slowly turning into new and exciting colors.

Shortly, we plan to start the renovations on the bathrooms…yes... the Bathrooms! We are planning to install new tiles in the bathroom, replace sinks, paint and add a few small decorating details to make this room a pleasant place for our children to visit :).

There are many more renovations and upgrades that we have on our wish list that we would like to tackle as part of this project – new floors in the hallway, new carpet in the play area, new window treatments, wall murals in the hallways and play area, etc… So stay tuned for more updates.
