Each unit is designed to be rich with hands-on experiences that build language, cognitive skills and a sense of discovery about the world around us... all while cultivating life-long lessons and values. What better way to do so than through a unit about "Our Community" ~ what is a community? how does a community work together to support and help each other? who makes up our community and how do they help us? are just some of the Big Ideas our children are exploring.
